James P. Hall

Attorney James P. Hall is the lead counsel in the firm's litigation and appellate practice. He focuses on municipal law, labor law, including arbitration and collective bargaining, civil litigation and personal injury, construction law, divorce and family law. He is also a veteran of many administrative boards and courts-martial. Attorney Hall defended what is believed to be the only civilian court-martial in U.S. history and his client was ultimately exonerated.

Attorney Hall joined the law firm in 2001. He is a life-long resident of Lowell. Attorney Hall served 5 years on active duty with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps. His military career included service as a prosecutor and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and as a Municipal & Administrative law attorney for the Fort Campbell military installation. He also served as a defense attorney with the 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC. He served as a trial counsel for the 2-327th Infantry ("No Slack") while deployed in Vitina, Kosovo (2000-2001) and later was selected for the initial Army Team at the Pentagon that was formulating procedures for the prosecution of Al Qaeda. Presently, Lieutenant Colonel Hall serves as a deputy commander in the U.S. Army Reserves in a trial defense command.
